Dirty hotel not worth risking the stay

Do not be fooled by the reviews here. It is a filthy hotel. Room smells of mold, carpet is so dirty if U walk with white socks they will turn black, so they have provided cheep slippers. The lobby and the front is well maintained. The manager is a good man who tries his best in a tough situation. We had booking of two days. We stayed for some time in the room before going and saw the city hoping that the smell will be gone as we thought it was the smell of cleaning of the room as it was done recently, but is was still there when we returned in the evening. So we checked out and went to find a different hotel and had to pay a higher price for the last min booking. Though we were gone by the evening we were not refunded the second days rent. Avoid this hotel as one would COVID or stay at your own risk.

Justa Sarang, Rameshwaram - Not more than a filthy lodge/dharamshala. The hotel was identified by our travel advisors to enable us to cover our tour to the great town of Rameshwaram. We intended to stay there for two days but in view of the very poor experience on all the parameters of cleanliness, staff responsiveness, food, ambience and overall customer contentment it is a very miserable property wrongly overrated on the travel sites, it cannot deserve a rating of more than 1/5. Inadequate staff, no choices of food, very shabby unhygienic washrooms, creaking air conditioner; surprisingly even the reception washroom is filthy, without a soap/hand wash, tissue paper, towel or hand dryer. In the morning, the staff is found clumsily lying on the floor at the reception gate. Fellow travelers should not waste money on this hotel. Dr. Rajesh Bhola Travel and Spiritual Writer & Columnist

We are stayed in justa Sarang rameswaram with my family the service and food is extremely good and fantastic tasty food served.The staffs are very polite and helpful.The manager is welcomed at the arrival and he explained all about the temple and local areas.The hotel arranged the cab for the day trip. Cab driver knows Hindi and English very well and he explained each and every thing. Good property choose in rameswaram.

Nice property in the highway and very close to the temple with good attractions. Rooms are neat & clean. Reception staffs are kind helpful for all detailed abouts RAMESWARAM.The foods part the buffet breakfast was super lot if varieties with local dishes . One thing want to highlight that if we ask anything the staffs never deny. We will recommend to others.

We are almost a group of 12 members and booked 5 rooms. The arrival with a welcome drink something like local dish jeel jeera and butter milk. The staffs are simple and humble with very helpful. They helped for the special darshan at temple Mr vijay helped a lot and he is very much supported there, thanks vijay. Evening the dinner was good, there is not much more dishes,the available dishes are very tasty. The Reception travel desk helped us to get a cab for all for the sightseeing and the driver language only was little problem but anyway we are happy with the trip. This property is situated in the highway and very easy to accessible to all areas. Thanks sarang team good hospitality service. We will come back again.
